ABOUT THIS RELEASE

From Baghdad to New York, passing through the heart of La Mancha. “Zyryab” is the explosion of the most visionary and transgressive side of Paco de Lucía, and now it is reborn in an epic version led by the harmonica master Antonio Serrano.

If Paco revolutionized the guitar, Serrano has done the same with the harmonica, placing it at the table of the giants of jazz and flamenco to unravel the secrets of this sonic architecture.

Accompanied by the unique texture of the Orquesta Ciudad de la Mancha, this piece fuses Arabic heritage with the most avant-garde sophistication. A recording that stands as a pure statement of intent: Paco’s legacy is eternal and continues to discover new colors in the hands of the finest musicians of our era.
