Mosaico de Aires Nativos
ABOUT THIS WORK
Originally written for piano, “Mosaico de aires nativos” is a Suite made up of seven movements inspired by various traditional rhythms pertaining to Ecuadorian folklore.
This transcription for solo guitar by Julia Villarroel, brings us closer to the color and rhythmic richness of these traditional music to the guitar while allowing us to discover the musical universe of one of the most influential Ecuatorians composers of the twentieth century.
