To speak about the work of Enrique Cofiner solely from the point of view of his concert works would be a partial and limited approach to the figure of this versatile composer.

While it is true that his concert works have made clear his capabilities as a composer of large forms, we cannot avoid to share as well his production of popular music.

This clear purpose has led to these first arrangements for guitar, arrangements of songs that Enrique Cofiner composed during his period as the leader of the orchestra “Cofiner y sus Chicos”.

His language, nourished by Spanish flavours and rhythms, invites us to dream with these melodies sung this time with the voice of the guitar.

These arrangements created by Maria Camahort fulfill our aim and transfer these melodies to the guitar in such a natural way that seem originally and exclusively conceived for this instrument.
