Ema Kapor was born in 1998 in Belgrade (Serbia) where she graduated from primary music school and music high school “Stanković” in the class of Professor Boris Đujić. Afterwards, she completed two years of studies at the Koblenz International Guitar Academy (Germany) in Professor Hubert Käppel’s class. In 2021, she successfully attained her Bachelor diploma at the University of Music and Dance in Cologne, also in the class of Professor Hubert Käppel. Currently, she is studying for a master’s degree at the University of Music and Media “Robert Schumann” in Düsseldorf, in the class of Professor Joaquin Clerch.

In 2014, she completed a course of the Summer Academy at the University of Mozarteum in Salzburg (Austria), in Professor Marco Tamayo’s class. In 2019, she completed a course at the International Music Academy – MusicAlp in Tignes (France) in the class of Professor Judicaël Perroy. She participated at the Zbaszyn International Masterclass (Poland), held by Professor Lukasz Kuropaczewski, in 2019 and 2020.

Furthermore, she has attended masterclasses with many famous guitarists and pedagogues such as Oscar Ghiglia, Pepe Romero, David Russell, Costas Cotsiolis, Aniello Desiderio, Zoran Dukić, Alvaro Pierri, Marcin Dylla and others.

Elena Ortega is an outstanding guitarist from Madrid, the city where she was born and where she completed her higher studies. Her extensive performing career includes concerts in prestigious auditoriums in different cities of the Spanish geography. The CentroCentro Cibeles, the Círculo de Bellas Artes, the Ateneo de Madrid or the Pabellón de Juventudes Musicales de Sevilla have successfully received each of his performances. He has also participated in several cycles and festivals in Spain and abroad, such as the Sonidos del Alcázar held in Seville, the Andrés Segovia International Guitar Festival in Madrid, the Mediterranean Guitar Festival in Barcelona, Conciertos de Palacio in Medinaceli (Soria), the Hanoi International Guitar Festival in Vietnam or the Guanacaste Guitar Festival in Costa Rica. He has also performed as a soloist with the Orquesta Sinfónica Ciudad de Getafe and with the Athanor Orchestra in Split (Croatia), with which he performed the Concierto de Aranjuez. He is also a member of various chamber ensembles, such as the Artemisa duo with flutist and conductor Jorge García Cuenllas.

His support for training complements his experience in various pedagogical projects such as the Commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the Concierto de Aranjuez organized by the SGAE, the Escuela Popular de Madrid and the Camerata Musicalis orchestra. In recent years, he has also been interested in cultural management and is a founding member of the Madrid International Guitar Festival. 

Recently, she won an international award in the ‘Best Instrumentalist’ category of the 2023 InterContinental Music Awards with the piece ‘Capricho Catalán’ by Isaac Albéniz included in her album ‘Rumores del Mediterráneo’. She has also been selected to give a concert in the 2024/2025 season of the MusaE Project, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Acción Cultural Española and Juventudes Musicales de España. 

Elena began to show a deep interest in music at an early age. After obtaining a degree in Chemical Engineering at the UPM and a Guitar Degree at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid with maestros Gabriel Estarellas, Iliana Matos and Tomás Campos, her eagerness to improve herself both artistically and technically led her to attend the I Master of Classical Guitar Performance in Seville directed by maestro Francisco Bernier, with the participation of maestros Judicaël Perroy, Zoran Dukic, Pablo Márquez, Paolo Pegoraro and Lorenzo Micheli.

Subsequently, she has also studied a Master’s Degree in Soloist Performance of Spanish Music at the Centro Superior Katarina Gurska with masters Àlex Garrobé and Laura Verdugo del Rey, inspired by the deep admiration she has always felt for this repertoire and its relationship with some popular music such as flamenco. She has also received master classes from other great interpreters and guitar figures such as Leo Brouwer, David Russell, Manuel Barrueco, Pepe Romero, Ricardo Gallén, Aniello Desiderio, Joaquín Clerch and Eduardo Fernández.

One of the most acclaimed guitarists of her generation.

Born in Geneva and based in Barcelona, the classical guitarist Ekaterina Záytseva possesses a refined technique and a sensitivity that has led her to be considered one of the great soloists of her generation.

She has participated in the most important international guitar festivals being awarded in numerous competitions such as “International Competition of Belgorod”, “Comarca el Condado”, Jaén, as well as in the “Ciutat de Torrent”, Valencia, and “Arjau”, Barcelona.

He has also performed in prestigious concert halls, such as the Moscow Conservatory, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Auditorium of Castellón, the Warsaw Radio Hall or the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona.

Eduardo Inestal, Professor of Guitar at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf (Germany), has developed an outstanding concert career as a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed in prestigious venues across Europe, Africa, and the Americas, in countries such as Germany, Russia, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, Albania, Belgium, Portugal, Cuba, Peru, and Nigeria.

Among the most significant venues where he has appeared are the Auditorio Manuel de Falla in Granada, Teatro Lope de Vega in Valladolid, Conde Duque and Fundación Juan March in Madrid, Auditorio Ciudad de León, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and the Robert Schumann Saal in Düsseldorf, the Cologne Philharmonie, and the National Theatre of Cuba.

He has received 23 prizes in international competitions, including José Tomás Villa de Petrer, Norba Caesarina, Villa de Aranda, Luys Milán, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm Guitar Silver, Alexander Matyaev, and New Generation.

He has premiered and recorded numerous works written and dedicated to him by internationally renowned composers such as David del Puerto, Joaquín Clerch, José María Gallardo del Rey, and Simone Iannarelli, among many others.

His discography includes several landmark recordings. La guitarra de Burgos (2012) achieved wide recognition and became the theme music for the Spanish National Radio program La Guitarra. In 2016, he released Premieres. New Music for Guitar with JSM Guitar Records, devoted to contemporary works written for him. In 2017, together with Joaquín Clerch and José Luis Morillas, he recorded the chamber music for guitar by Jean-Maurice Mourat for the IBS label; this recording was awarded the Melómano de Oro prize. His most recent recording, Cantos del rapsoda (JSM, 2026), is a monographic album of works for guitar by Spanish composer David del Puerto, all recorded for the first time.

He is the author of the book “Ars Docendi. Basic Principles of Pedagogy in Classical Guitar,” in which he seeks to fill a clear gap in the field of arts education.

He is frequently invited to give masterclasses at leading conservatories and festivals, including Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid, Mozarteum Salzburg, HfK Bremen, HfMDK Frankfurt, RCSM de Granada, Conservatorios Superiores de Jaén and Málaga, or COSCYL.

He also regularly serves as a jury member in international competitions throughout Europe and the Americas, such as those held in Havana, Madrid, Norba Caesarina, José Tomás Villa de Petrer, Albania, Jugend Musiziert, or Nizhny Novgorod, among others.

Eduardo Inestal is an artist for Knobloch, Tonebase, and Sulayr.

Dúo Herrando

After crossing paths several times during their studies in Barcelona and Holland violinists Alba Encinas and Isabel Soteras decide to create the duo Herrando that performs for the first time at the Pavia festival, Notte Barroca, in 2019. Since then they offer concerts in various European cities and have recently recorded a CD with unpublished works by Brunetti and Herrando receiving the best reviews in terms of artistic quality and heritage recovery work.
