His artistic restlessness has made this young man explore any musical field in which his instrument appears, with singers and singers, chamber ensembles, flamenco groups, rock and popular music groups, etc.. We are before a multifaceted musician who transforms and adapts his virtuosity to share and express feelings in the form of sounds.

The eagerness and the struggle of this musician, are focused on making known the different guitar repertoires, exploring the multiple ways in which his instrument is present. In his interpretations one can perceive delicate timbres of the classical universe, as well as the wildest strumming of traditional flamenco. It should be noted the elegance and personality in his sound that, thanks to the technical mastery of the “sonanta”, adapts to any context and enhances the spirit of each work, impregnating it with his personality.

Born in Granada in 1989, he began his musical career as a child. At the age of 13 he began his artistic career in guitar competitions and festivals, combining this activity with different projects in which the guitar is combined and merged with other arts and genres.

In 2015 he completed his classical guitar studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music Victoria Eugenia of Granada, obtaining the special prize of the jury among all instrumental specialties.

He combines his academic activity with participation in festivals and guitar competitions throughout Spain, obtaining numerous achievements of which it is worth mentioning the first prize at the international guitar festival Villa de Petrer (Alicante), a festival to which he is frequently invited and in which he gives his “Flamenco Masterclass for any guitarist”.
Later the passion for music and curiosity, lead this young musician to know and deepen the study of flamenco guitar, in all its breadth, accompaniment to singing and dancing, fusion with other music … from a different and open perspective, without prejudice, exploiting the virtues of each style and combining guitar techniques in favor of music, highlighting the expressive power of his instrument.

The knowledge of other styles and artistic curiosity cause Diego to be actively involved in cultural projects such as Huele a Caí and the duo Color Local Palos flamencos, carnival of Cadiz and popular and cultured music come together in a special way in the different facets of this musician, able to play as a soloist or as part of musical groups of various kinds. He is always looking for the conciliation between the different guitar repertoires.
