Joaquín Panadés is a guitarist and composer whose approach to composition emerges naturally as an extension of his artistic expression. He specializes in performing with historical guitars strung with gut and silk strings, employing the no nail technique in his right hand.
Joaquín began his guitar studies with Jovan Milosevski and continued his training under Carles Trepat, who introduced him to the historical sound and rich tradition of the guitar. He later earned his degree in classical and contemporary music performance from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC).
As a performer, Joaquín has appeared at national and international festivals, blending solo recitals with chamber music collaborations. In 2017, he participated in a concert tour as a member of the “Lira Orfeu Miquel Llobet,” an orchestra created under the direction of Carles Trepat and inspired by the late 19th-century ensemble led by Miguel Llobet.
Currently, Joaquín is dedicated to promoting the guitar and its musical heritage at Casa Sors in Barcelona.
