“8 Preludios Líricos” is a collection of lyrical preludes for guitar, composed by Joaquín Panadés. Initially conceived as standalone pieces for the instrument, they were later grouped into a cycle of eight works dedicated to Carles Trepat.

These preludes were composed in 2016, an artistically rich and inspiring year for the composer, as it coincided with the founding of the Lira Orfeu Miquel Llobet orchestra under Trepat’s direction, in which Panadés took part as a musician.
